On September 14, 2022, Substack writers around the world will gather for Substack Writer Meetup Day. Writers will boost their collective spirits through mingling with peers, sharing drinks, and swapping tips and tricks.

The Substack team is hosting in New York City, San Francisco, Toronto and London. If you happen to find yourself in one of those cities on September 14th, we’d love for you to join us.

If you are keen to host a meetup, in-person for writers in your region or a virtual event for writers same category, we would love to help you get organized and spread the word. Our goal is to support hosts with the tools and know-how to find and connect with other writers. We do this by:

  • Spreading the word: We will share your meetup with writers who have participated in Substack community programs in your region or category on your behalf.

  • Resources: Hosts receive a Substack toolkit for hosting a meetup, as well as a small stipend for transportation expenses to and from in-person meetups.
