Today, we’re launching an iOS app for reading. It’s like your email inbox, but better.
For readers, the app brings all your Substack subscriptions together in one venue, giving you a beautiful, focused place to read your favorite writers. Discovery features make it easier to find and fall in love with new writers, and the app brings text, audio, video, and community seamlessly together for the best reading experience on the internet.
For writers, your connection to your readers gets upgraded when they choose to install the app. As ever, you retain total ownership of your content and mailing list, but now you also get instant, reliable delivery (no more Promotions folder!), multiple media formats in a single package, and another way for readers to connect with you and your work.
Download the app for iPhone and iPad here.
For Android users, sign up for the waiting list here.
As in everything we do at Substack, we see our work on this app as being in service of writers. This is just the first version, but it already incorporates a bunch of early feedback from newsletter authors. We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below, or via feedback@substack.com.
How the app fits into the big picture
We started Substack because we believe that what you read matters, and that great writing is valuable. Great writing influences how you think and shapes how you see the world. It can change a policy, save lives, and start a movement. The cultural value of writing has always been clear, but in recent years writers have been given the impression that their work has little economic value.
The last couple of decades of the internet have eroded the media business and stripped writers – and other culture makers – of their financial dignity. Craigslist delivered the first blow, depriving the press of revenue from classifieds, and then Google and Facebook came along and sucked up the vast majority of online ad spend. As media businesses became more and more anemic, writers were relegated to content-production roles and playing attention games on social media, where “engagement” is prized above all else, including quality and truth.
It is clear to us that these problems can’t be solved with a tweak to an algorithm or a just-so regulation. Instead, the entire system needs to change. With Substack, we have set out to build an alternative media ecosystem based on different laws of physics, where writers are rewarded with direct payments from readers, and where readers have total control over what they read. In this world, writers are rewarded for serving readers well, and Substack gets rewarded for serving writers well. The power is tipped in favor of the people, not the platform.
The Substack app represents an important piece of this puzzle. The Substack framework has been flourishing based on email and the web, but now new things are possible.
The app helps bring together Substack as an ecosystem, giving you an icon to tap on your home screen that opens up a treasury of quality work by the writers you most trust. It is an app for deep relationships, an alternative to the mindless scrolling and cheap dopamine hits that lie behind other home screen icons. It offers a quiet space to read, where the work itself is given the spotlight and you’re not pulled into status games or trivial diversions. And it amplifies the network effects that already exist on Substack (did you know that if a reader is already a paid subscriber to a Substack, they’re 2.5x more likely to pay for yours?), making it easier for writers to get new subscribers, and for readers to explore and sample Substacks they might otherwise not have found.
You can expect new features and functions to become available as we continue to develop the app and improve the experience for readers, writers, podcasters, videomakers, community leaders, and more.
If you’re having trouble with the app, our support team can help. Head to the support center.
If you have questions about how the app works, you can ask those in the comment section of this post and we’ll do our best to answer.
Wooooooo!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Indeed!
I’ve installed the app approximately 25 seconds ago and I’m already pretty confident to say that it is great from both a writer and reader standpoint.
Can already see how it can be used for a mindful weekly reading session of all of my subscriptions and if I can leverage to get a few more subs for my own newsletter then that’s a real bonus too.
Love that I can be more intentional with my reading as well! Having it all in one spot instead of moving in/out of my inbox is a great change.
Exactly that, Kevin.
The companies to trust today are those whose business model isn’t just time on app= ad revenue. Good online platforms, imo, should help you be more intentional and spend *less* time online overall.
Sunday= coffee shop= two hours reading from the substack app will probably be my routine going forward.
Thomas, I agree with you about companies to trust today…
My special highlight goes specifically to Substack.
Thank you.
I’m so excited! Already completely obsessed with the app!!!!
Yeah, you can instantly see the potential of it, can’t you?
it was curious to me that the commercial focused so much on scrolling or an attempt to scroll. It was almost like "tell me the app isn't a slot machine like Twitter and Facebag without telling me the app isn't a slot machine like Twitter and Facebag."
Apple can pull the Substack app like they pulled Parler, or pressure them about content. Once a substantial fraction of Substack customers uses the app, Apple and Google will have leverage. I'll bet Substack authors already violate various app store Terms of Service. Maybe Substack is looking for plausible deniability when they are "forced" to limit speech and Apple/Google made them do it. Websites are much less constrained, as web hosting is a commodity and Substack could even run its own servers.
Google? Does Substack have an Android app?
That they don't have an Android app is very confusing; you as a writer want the largest customer base possible, so you do everything in Apple. 🤦 Substack is coming off as rich and Western while attempting to look appealing to disillusioned leftists?
On the android app, the first thing you have to go through is an ad....... so frustrating! No time for that, especially when it's always the same app for a game nobody wants to play. Then, after the add, it's a very limited version of the web platform. I just better use the desktop platform to manage it all.
This is wonderful to see. Many thanks to all the Substack team. I'm loving all this work you do refining the tools and the machines so we can all do great things for our readers and communities. I especially love that you're bending the rules of physics for writers and readers.
SO EXCITED!!!! WELL DONE TEAM!!!
Love that all my Substacks are now in one place!!!!
What a great Wednesday surprise! I’ve signed up for so many great newsletters recently, my inbox has become a mess. I was so glad to see the app give me the option to pause email notifications automatically. 😅
100% this
Agree! Love the ease of setup.
This is what I was waiting for!!
It’s a dream come true.
Totally excited. excellent info and application. About to do it now.
Thank you.
"No more Promotions folder!" Hallelujah !!! 🎉🎉🎉
App loaded … easier to follow authors with the Sustack App. Good Luck with it!
i was just wondering when substack was going to make this happen!
This has made me very happy and smiley!! That’s not easy, as I’m quite a grumpy person. It does mean I’ll have another go at my publication that I’ve abandoned
YES!! Very excited to see this happening.
I will be interested to hear what people have to say about this. I have an android so I have to wait, but that's alright, as it will give time to get it all figured out best!
I'm happy with how often Substack is releasing new updates and features. It's a great platform
The Android waitlist is live: https://sublink.substack.com/android-waitlist
It's early, but so far it looks great. I've used it to read an article, comment on another, and then "test drive" archiving one I'd read yesterday.
I might be speaking too soon but it seems like everyone here is too nice for this comment section to descend into Apple vs Android sectarian conflict.
Gives you hope, doesn’t it?
Just trying to soak in any bit of joy we can.
Substack is the new New York Times! Love everything you’re doing Substack!
Oh, I celebrated too early... Not for android :(
You'll have it soon! The Android waitlist is here: https://sublink.substack.com/android-waitlist
We now September. Still nothing.
Thanks!!!
Finally!!!!
Thank you for creating this! I appreciate it so much!!!
I have been loving the app, are there any plans of adding an offline mode?
Some of us (1) still prefer our computers to our phones, especially for reading long form writing, and (2) still prefer content to be separate from communications - meaning we don't enjoy getting 55x emails a day, and (3) would like a way to see all their Substack content aggregated without needing 55 separate browser tabs.
IN other words, please provide a Mac version or at least a website redesign with the same idea.
We're working on improving the web reading experience too! Stay tuned.
Happy dance happening over here. 😀
A long overdue content model reckoning--on behalf of civilization, thank you.
Fantastic
So great. Have been having a lot of fun using it, and honoured to be featured amongst such esteemed publications in the video!
Thanks for building with us Kevin!
Love this so much!
But there needs to be a way to un-archive.
If I’m “archiving” to read it later, then I’d like to remove from archive when read.
Also: I think the swipe should add a second option, “Done” -- to remove it from the inbox view.
This is great feedback, Matt! I am passing along to the app team.
Love it! Looking forward to more features for newsletter writers too. 😊
I’m loving the app so far! It’s very intuitive.
Woo hoo! My dreams have come true!
This is absolutely fantastic.
Fabulous news!!!
I love this because my email inbox has been completely overrun by substack newsletter notifications to the point it's unmanageable. I would REALLY like it if we had the option to choose different settings for our own newletter than for the ones we read. I want to be responsive to my readers but I feel less urgency around other newsletters. Also, if we could get notified for comments but turn off notifications for likes, it would be less overwhelming. Getting 50 notifications for likes on a comment on a random thread on a newletter means somehting I did want to see probably got lost in the mass deleting. Thanks for the continued improvements.
This is all really great. I was wondering when you'd be creating such a thing. I would suggest as an additional feature, the ability to have it read to you through a voice feature like some other reader apps have. That way people can listen to their favourite writers without necessarily requiring the writers to create a podcast option.
Substack feels fresh and right in so many ways. Congrats 👏
This is like the scene in Sister Act 2 where everyone is singing "JOYFUL JOYFUL"!!!!! As a writer I cannot wait until drafting via the app can happen, but this is already major. Thank you all!!
This made me LOL. Yes Sister Act!!!!
Your continued innovation is truly inspiring. Just in the first screen I got a few cool recommendations I can check out. I’m obsessed. 😝
Can't wait to give it a test drive and tell my readers in my next post!
Same! Working on it today.
Stoked for this app!
This is awesome!!!
I am so happy about this! Thank you guys!
I can't wait for it to come to Android, both as a writer and a reader!
Wonderful! Thank you so, so much 🤗
Definately my new homepage. Simplicity at its best.
Looking forward to trying it out!
Thank you!! Noticed a bug- the app doesn’t use the background color chosen as the theme by each publication which can result in some png images with a transparent background (that would be visible on a light background for example) become hard to visualize on the default dark grey background on the app. Also noticed gifs take a long time to load. Would be useful to retain the customization features that publications have on the desktop website!
Hi Ayesha,
I am noting with our app team that GIFS are taking a longer time to load.
The theme is reflected in some minor surfaces like buttons, but I hear you not everything is reflected. The app works today sort of like email in that we are limited what transfers from web to email, we are also limited in what transfers from web to the app.
Eventually we will have a set of themes that writers can choose from to best suit your optimal reading experience like font, background, color and even more variables that can enhance the reader experience. We believe there are lots more ways we can help you express your brand and create a visual identity in the app and we are excited to build with you.
Thanks Katie!
This is exciting!!! The link for the Android wait list is closed, but I'd love to get on that list!
Sorry Nissa, we will get that fixed asap!
The Android waitlist is live: https://sublink.substack.com/android-waitlist
Thank you!!!
Sounds interesting. The waiting list link for Android doesn't work, though - typeform is closed.
I do worry about about Substack having 'an ecosystem', as that kind of blurring of lines between creators I feel is part of what has caused problems on social media platforms.
Substack exists to put readers and writers in charge. That's one of the founding principles that the company is built on, and it's of the utmost importance to us—our team, our founders—that we never get in the way of the direct relationships between a reader and the writers they choose to subscribe to.
That’s why the central screen in the app is the Inbox, and why it works exactly the same way as an email inbox. New posts come in, and readers get notified. When it comes to your subscribers, the app should deepen the direct connection and there won’t be any confusing or complex algorithm getting in the way.
When it comes to readers who haven’t found you yet, we’re optimistic that there could be some thoughtful ways for the app to help with discovery — but still through the lens of the writers that a reader trusts. For example, as comments become more accessible within the app, a reader might discover new publications through the profiles of other readers.
I suppose one way to sidestep some potential algorithmic issues/problems with network effects and power laws would be to have a random substack discovery feature where something completely random is offered in the app as a reader.
Potentially a way to broaden our horizons and reduce the chance of us being silo’d. could also give some smaller time writers (*ahem*) a boost.
But what do I know?
Glad to hear that this is all being thought about, rather than blundered into. :) One of the benefits of Substack coming into being on the tail end of the social media boom, I guess - you can observe what went right and wrong there.
(The Android waitlist is now live: https://sublink.substack.com/android-waitlist)
Fab!
This app is also the best RSS reader I’ve used yet. Eager to continue using this!
This is so exciting. It has just instantly opened me up to many more readers of my articles and listeners to my new coffee podcast. Thank you Substack you guys are incredible! 🥁☕️🤙🏻
I commented earlier today that I'm happy with this app, and I am. But I noticed something puzzling: the app view of my posts does not have the customization that is shown when reading my posts on the web. Viewed on a browser, my posts have a background color and a sans serif font. On the app, my post appears with a white background and the default serif font. Not a huge deal or much of a difference, but I wanted to point that out.
We shared this feedback with our team! Thank you for flagging this.
Good morning--I just noticed a more significant problem. I published a post this morning with two Instagram posts embedded. Reading it in the app, I cannot click through to see the post & play the video in Instagram. The Instagram post appears only as a static image in my story. You can check it out on my new post on sarahrunning.substack.com. Thanks
Can I import RSS feeds from other apps like Feedly? Or how can I add an RSS feed manually to the iOS app? Thanks!
You can add any RSS feed to the app via the web at http://reader.substack.com!
Thanks!
Nice work, peeps! My obsessive-efficient-over organized self thanks you 💯
Glorious!
What a simple, beautiful interface. Congratulations to the team on a job well done!
Delighted to have this app! Thank you Substack.
Loving it already!
I literally went on the Google Play store yesterday to see if there was a Substack app - I'm so excited that one is coming!
Special Edition going out now! Substack continues to lead the way.
instant installation.
ah! This is great!
But I would love it even more if you had an editor app for the writers who write on substack.
I believe a lot of people would relate to that. I
would love to write and draft on my phone within the substack app rather than having to write to Notion and then copy-pasting to Substack editor on a laptop.
Also if anyone from substack official team is reading this, can you please add a drafts tab adjacent to the posts tab so that it's faster to navigate to drafts and start writing.
to everyone else reading this comment, I write at https://rahultyagi.substack.com, Would love some feedback.
Hi Rahul, I see where having an editor in the app would be valuable and I imagine you are right that other writers would enjoy the same.
I will pass along your feedback on moving the drafts tab adjacent to the post tab to our product team.
Thanks for writing on Substack!
How does a writer post content? I don't see a button or tab for that on my iPhone's app.
When's the android app available?
I know we are second class in the productivity sphere so no surprises that another company opted not to just build for both on Expo...
Anyways estimates would be great, or acknowledgement at all on this announcement.
Thanks. Need substack to support writing from web browsers on iOS (older versions). Physical illnesses and disabilities limits laptop time. I can hold the iphone in my hand even when curled up on my chair.
Is it possible to write a Post using the App?
Would love to be able to edit posts on the go within the app!
Looking forward to read you, outside the clutter of my inbox :)
A spectacular app! A fabulous launch! Congratulations to the big, BIG brains behind it!
I will be cheerleading and giving a huge HOOOOOOOO-RAY! to the app on my Substack later today!
Fantastic! Thank you and congratulations to the Team!
Sorry, but as a writer I don’t like it. Where are all the menus and links from my lovingly curated home page? I’m exaggerating about the lovingly curated part, but those links are very important to me! Otherwise, great work! I like the rest of it, but also wish each article graphic/photo wasn’t so square, and so small..
We'll take this feedback back to the team. Thank you!
I just edited my comment to add more, if you could take a peek. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea, and I’m really looking forward to its evolution. Thank you!
Long awaited!
This is great but couldn't register for android waitlist... Too bad ! I will have to wait ^^
Try this link, Florence! https://8g5zau8cti6.typeform.com/to/YPiI2mMg?typeform-source=on.substack.com
Thanks ! It worked. I hope I'll that soo ! Good job anyway !
This is fantastic! I am so looking forward to telling my readers about the app. I think it will make reaching new subscribers FAR easier. Thank you for this!
Thank you! I will be sharing this with my readers. I know at least a couple people who have trouble with browser/inbox and would probably benefit from this.
Congratulations to the whole team! Very exciting stuff. Thank you all
Love it! “Cheap dopamine hits” sorted.
Wow!
Such a great addition to the Substack ecosystem. Thanks to everyone in your team, great job !
I'm looking forward to when the Android app is available. Is there an ETA on this?
As soon as possible :)
Can't wait until Android app is available
Wonderful! Thanks!
The wait-list link for Android doesn't work
We’re on it! Fix coming soon.
The Android waitlist is now up and running! https://sublink.substack.com/android-waitlist
Is there a way of turning off the dark mode on the app? Or is it linked to the system default?
Small suggestion: any chance you could do a Kindle clip style thing, so we can preload our Kindle email addresses, and send Substacks to our Kindles? This would work only in browser, I guess.
No android?
I'm setting up my Substack for the first time. And I'm getting a giant promotional box about the app at the top of my emails that I didn't put there, and can't figure out how to delete. Can anyone help? Thanks.
my Substack has been dormant for a while. I've tried to start it up again with no success. Have trouble copying text for new post and when I do post doesn't arrive at its destinations. Will app make the posting process more efficient?
Wow, very exciting, you guys are amazing!
this is pitiful hear a lot of talk but see nothing worth reading where is it
You have no app for Windows?
interesting fact: WITHOUT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT THESE APP, I was looking for the new Substack app on the Google Play Store, and not finding any, I tweeted to Substack that I would love to find the Substack app for Android. The same day, March 9th, I receive - like all of you - the news that the Substack app has just been released on the Apple store, and about 10 days later, I was able to download it from the Google Play store!! Truly amazing!!
A majority of the people in the world have Android apps. Almost all major platform provide both iOS and Android apps. I just joined Substack and likely would not have done so if I realized there was no Android app. Is an Android app forthcoming?
Awesome, lets go! :D
amen. thanks.
Inbox is great. Archiving is great.
But it'd be REALLY great to be able to easily find those stories that you've marked with a heart.
Easily finding one's favorites would be a real plus.
this is so awesome for you to develop mobile app. people now using theri phone daily and the availability of applications such as many from Apkfun is very convenient. I look forward to android Substack app version. Hope that it will come soon!
How can we get emails again despite having the app, which is great? As a publisher, I like getting both.
I like the reading experience of the new iOS app. However, I also like using my Mac to read in some circumstances. With Macs transitioning to Apple Silicon, you might consider making the iOS app available on Macs with Apple Silicon. If I understand correctly, many iOS apps will just work on these Macs but you have to make them available in the Mac App Store.
Love the app so far!
Question/suggestion: is there a way to mark something in the app as unread? The notifications on my apps help remind me that I need to go back and finish something when I get interrupted.
Cannot sign in. Everyone else has the issue?
love it!
I really like the app! Nice, simple, straight forward. Although is was not apparent from your promotional efforts, the app looks good on iPad as well. Is there a way to make the font size larger?
Think it's great. But why not launch the Android version at the same time?
When will we see a web version of the app?
Really nice design and functionality. Just clean. Really like it.
sweet!!!
Will the writers still get the email addresses of everyone who subscribes to the publication in the app?
It’s good that there’s an app now but please how do we write using the app? I’m having trouble with that
is it possible to sign up for paid subscriptions through the app?
For now, we handle paid subscriptions as follows: a reader can subscribe for free easily through the app. (We expect writers to see an increase in these free subscriptions as app use increases). Once a new reader subscribes from the app, they’ll get a custom email confirmation pointing them to your paid options that they can access from the web just like normal.
There are some legal cases in the works that we are watching closely, and we’re optimistic that there will be a way for readers to pay to subscribe directly from the app at some point in the near future.
Chris, Hamish and Jairaj: Substack is an absolutely brilliant innovation and sorely needed. Its only flaw is that it is too expensive. Were I to subscribe to Bari Weiss, and Matt Taibbi, and Michael Shellenberger, and Daniel Gordis, and Wesley Yang, and Melanie Philips, and N.S. Lyons, and Vinay Prasad, and Zaid Jilani, and Glenn Loury, and Ted Gioia (some of whom I DO subscribe to) this would cost over $500 per year. If I subscribe to The Atlantic, or The New Criterion, or The New York Review of Books, etc. in each case I get to read a variety of interesting writers for about $50 per year -- the cost of a single Substack stream. My suggestion would be for Substack to explore a "magazine" format option with content from various streams at a cost comparable to the legacy "print" competition. Get ahead of the "subscription fatigue" that is creeping into other modes of personal edification.
Does have the app installed for our account mean we don't get the newsletters emailed? That seems to be the case this morning; a bunch of them are not in the email, but of course are available in the app.
https://support.substack.com/hc/en-us/articles/4530171220500-Will-I-still-get-emails-if-I-have-the-Substack-app-
Love it! Curious if it’s built with native swift for iOS or using flutter or react instead?
That's a GREAT NEWS! I am really Excited about this new App! hope it would be applicable with my site https://www.4fotos1palabrajuego.com/4-letras/
Android users get to fill out a survey; as if being part of 48% of device users wasn't enough. Couldn't you tell from your usage stats how many of what devices were accessing your service? Why use a survey? You didn't ask the IOS users to fill out a survey.
Hhmm. I didn't click through the link, but went straight to the App Store and searched "Substack" and it didn't appear until about the 25th option, below non-English apps. Odd.
Yes, it's because we're brand new to the App Store. This should be better in the coming day or so. Sorry, and thank you for digging for it!
Going to be blunt:
Substack didn’t build an app for writers. This is for readers, just like reader was.
Readers aren’t your customers. Writers who pay you a percentage of their profits are. Their subscribers read the newsletter in their inboxes.
Beehiiv is eating your lunch. This will be a major waste of resources.
100% agreed
Very impressed that you included an option to pause emails in the setup process. Genius thinking!
Nice, only one problem with onboarding, my Substack email address is not one I have active on my iPhone, so your onboarding process does not work for this use case. I would expect that there are many people using different email addresses for interacting with Substack, and other tools, so you need to consider how to do this. I can probably work around this by logging into webmail in iPhone browser, but this is an ugly solution.
Can anyone help me how to edit my about introduction on my profile?
Look clear and beautiful. I am supper excited with this Substack’s new Application.
Thank you Substack.
Love it. Thank you Substack for the update. Great improvement.
I am happy that you have an app now, but I do not support apple or any of their products- personal boycott- any chance you guys could add an app for the Galaxy platform?
We will soon! You can add your name to the wait list here: https://sublink.substack.com/android-waitlist
Done! thx
When shall we expect the app for android?
As soon as possible! Be sure to fill out the waitlist form and we'll keep you posted: https://8g5zau8cti6.typeform.com/
Congratulations! Sign In Message never arrived. Back to reader Beta.
It's always apple that gets the app first 😓that is frustrating. But happy to see the app is coming down the pipeline.
Will there be a way to hide comments made by Android users?
This is awesome! Any timeliness on the Android version??
We will have it for you as soon as possible! And you join and/or share the waitlist now if they want to get on the list to get it first. Here’s the waitlist link: https://sublink.substack.com/android-waitlist
Already on it 😊 Thanks!
I swear as soon as the Android app goes live I'm telling all of my readers to get it.
We will have it for you as soon as possible! And you can share the waitlist with them now if they want to get on the list to get it first. Here’s the waitlist link: https://sublink.substack.com/android-waitlist
Hii i cant download the app it says that is not available in my country Honduras🇭🇳😞
NVM 😅
Glad you were able to access, happy reading!
The links in the email lead nowhere. I totally want this app! Please send me a working link, and thanks!
HI Jake, here is the link to download the app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/substack-reader/
Thanks for the quick response! This link didn’t work either but I was able to find the app in the app store. Just had to do some scrolling. Definitely psyched about the app, though!
Anyway to adjust the font size for those of us with vision disabilities? Didn’t see any settings for it.
I should say dynamic text works for the headline but not the body text
Hi Steven, this is top of mind as we move forward in building the app. While you can not change font size in the app today, it's on our roadmap. The size will however be consistent with you phone settings, so if you have your iOS device setup for larger font size, that will show in Substack app too.
Unfortunately that’s only true for headline text not the body text of the article. It looks like the body texts spacing increases but the font size doesn’t increase or decrease as you move that slider.
Thanks for the clarification. Rest assure it's on the roadmap.
I wish substack felt like the twenty twenty one wordpress theme
Is it possible to install the app on a laptop?
I definitely fell in love with it💕🎉🎉🎉
🎉🎉🎉 it’s funny I came out and after that, I never knew there was any different. Thank you for your Substack.
Why are those who refuse to use "smartphone" or androids being pushed out of society? Are you going to allow the same access capability to those who use their desktop PC to access the internet?
This is an exciting development for the Substack community! The new app promises to streamline the reading experience by consolidating all subscriptions into one beautifully designed platform. It’s great to see a focus on fostering genuine connections between writers and readers, moving away from the noise of traditional social media.
I appreciate that writers retain ownership of their content while gaining reliable delivery and enhanced engagement. This shift could really empower creators and bring more value to quality writing. I’m looking forward to seeing how the app evolves and supports both readers and writers alike. Check out more about it here: https://pryurhealth.com/thedoctorbill/
No information about this app in wikipaedo even theough their page on substack was updated yesterday. Maybe they don't do Apple?
Yes !!!!
I have installed the app, created a profile and a bio but can't see how to post anything other than a note?
Need on watch now.
two questions. 1. the app is on my android phone. One site gives me useable ideas but I don't see how I can print that document or save that document to my phone so I can utilize it. 2. Is there anysway to get to the app on my laptop? or access on my laptop?
Can I use the App on both my iPhone and iPad? The reason I am asking is that I have it downloaded on my iPhone, but it will not load on the iPad, even after I have clicked the verification link sent via email to my iPad.
The app is terrible. Lousy. Almost impossible to log in to. Wants to send me hundreds of notifications. Undoubtedly mining my phone for any data it can possibly steal. They have made it impossible to login via browser with any privacy controls. So I had to install this PoS app. I am not happy.
Is it possible to see my writer’s dashboard on the app for iOS?
Can I organise the iOS reader by the author rather than the date?
I don't know what my statis is on this product. Last night I discovered I had none of my previous listings to the one subscriptions to Matt Taibbi on the Substack app. As of now I don't even know how to recover them or how to claim I am a subscriber. I removed the app and reinstalled it but still nothing of Matt's re-appears. And now their is a hot story on twitter I am trying to follow written by him. I'm ready to throw in the towel on Substack (which from the start has always annoyed me as the only source to read his news letter). So I don't know at this point what the F happened. Has my subscription run out for TK? If it has shouldn't substack notify some way some how...oh oh I also was paying for Disident Russian Journalist too. I got a email from Substack this morning to get their app. I logged in and then am told to "expect" the app. What does that mean ?
Does this ios app include writing posts? There is no dashboard.
I would like to subscribe to letters from an American. I don’t give my credit card out online. Can I pay some other way? PayPal? Check to a physical address? Who to contact
