Heya, from Wikipedia: 'The boiling frog is an apologue describing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death.' ItтАЩs all about rate of change. If you try to change too much too fast, you get a lot of resistance: тАЬchange [perceived to be] imposed is change opposed.тАЭ If you do it slowly enough, like getting into cold water, itтАЩs more readily accepted.

When income tax was first proposed, the promise was that it would be a trivial thing, and never more than 2-3%. Well, maybe 4%, but just this year.

Flatten the curve! Just for 2 weeks!
