OK this was definitely something I needed to read, at present I don't have my own writer website and I'm brand new to the Freelance Writing industry. I've got writing samples alongside a couple of blogs I wrote in Dec and Jan on my profile across a range of platforms, Substack included. And now I'm thinking about the time I need to invest to grow my followers, readers, subscribers across each platform. Some are just static platforms where clients will be able to see my writing samples and portfolio whereas others have earning potential, e.g. Substack, Medium etc. So I think I need to take stock re how best to grow my Freelance writing (blogging), writing for clients and pitching/applying for freelancing gigs, otherwise I'll end up doing about 5% of 10 things rather than 100% of three things!
