I’m a VERY new user and I find nothing is easy or intuitive about the site. Likewise, there no instructions or help topics about HOW TO ACTUALLY accomplish the editing recommended. I’m sure when I’ve devoted several frustrating hours on the site, I’ll eventually figure it out. 👎 to SubStack for offering so little help
Hi William, did you work out how to use Substack more efficiently? I have just joined and not sure if it is for me, not sure what I am doing. And as a writer of a Spiritual Magazine and blog posts. am I going to be spending too much time when I do not really understand it.

I heard you say that you're a writer of a spiritual magazine and blog posts (I'm walking the same path too), and this was since 2023. Please, did you eventually figure this out?
I've submitted a few bug reports on the inability to update things in the interface. However, they do not have an automated system for sending confirmation on bug report creation. So, no idea if the tech support team is actually looking into this or
not. Most I got from the support chatbot was that there is no timeline for a fix.
My one-line description seems to begin with the boiler-plate "A newsletter about" and then my one-line text, which I cannot change, no matter what I do.
I had the same problem. I put a filler one-line description in when I was setting up the account, but now I can't change it. I thought I found the right place: Settings > Details > Introduction. But updating that does NOT update anything.

Helpful guide to enhance substack publication and l will definitely try it to work out as a beginner while staying authentic as with my knowledge and experience.
I found this article to be very helpful. Until I found it I was drowning in the details with no clear plan about how to set up my newsletter. I think I am going to get this done now. Many thanks for your great article and assistance.

I suggest to update this guide (and so many other guides).
