They absolutely should not. We just have not gotten into using video yet where this was necessary.

There are many accounts on substack which use videos. I do NO join any of them if there are NO subtitles. Same with u-tube.
Try stuffing your ears with cotton wool and watch as some nonetity talks without subtitles.
