However I do want to stay subscribed to particular writers so that when I go to the Substack site I can find the writers I am interested in. The user-face does not provide a straightforward option for this. If if does it is not clear. It seems I have set myself up to do this with some writers but not others. It is convoluted and unclear. Why not one setting that alleviates the suffering of having to go in and set up each writer in the "app" individually. When I unsubscribe from email notifications, am I unsubscribing from a particular author completely or just their notification? It would seem that sometimes I am and sometimes I am not. The ambiguous use of words like "app" and "unsubscribe" is not helpful.
