There is, indeed. It's a town of about 10,000 people just outside Madison, Wisconsin called Mount Horeb. There are wooden trolls all over, at least one on every main block downtown. We have a local brewery and restaurant called The Grumpy Troll, and its little sister candy store, Sugar Troll, and a bunch of other troll-themed brands and businesses. It's a whole thing.
I was born and raised in Madison. I can't say living here, in a much smaller place, even one as charming, is always easy for me, but there are definite benefits, I can't deny that.
Oh no! My deepest apologies to the gnomes. (Writing from the troll capital of the world -- not kidding -- I should know better.)
(Glad to help with the search bar -- it's NOT easy to spot and I agree that it could be so much more visible to visitors.)
😄😄😄 There's a troll capital? And you live there? Is it fun?
Thanks again!

My grandson used to live in Madison. I'll have to ask him if he's been there. So it IS fun!
