I would actually love to create a thread where people can share their creativity for the week. This wold require the ability for commenters on the thread however to be able to also post links/media. Is this something that is possible?

What I want to know/what is needed is a very simple way to go directly to the comment when you get a notice that someone replied. I get activity notification like "1 user replied" and don't know how to directly go to that comment and reply. I click it and nothing happens. I try other things, and all I can do is get to the original post with a zillion comments and replies which makes it impossible to find the particular comment/reply of interest. My ignorance? Or something Substack needs to fix to make these dialogs useful? I'd attend to that before worry about tracking "user experience" with widgets like 'thread pilots' and such. Just my observation.

I’ve seen a newsletter with a button CATCH UP ON PAST ISSUES HERE. How do I get that button?

This looks like a really smart direction for Substack communities. Keeping conversations inside the platform instead of pushing people to external apps makes engagement feel much more natural for both writers and subscribers. I also like the option to limit discussions to paid members because it gives creators more control over community quality.

We’ve seen similar community-focused features improve retention on content-based websites too. Even on niche utility sites like https://calcolastipendionetto.com/ where users mainly come for quick tools, adding discussion or feedback-style interaction can keep readers coming back more often instead of just visiting once and leaving.

This FAQ is really helpful for understanding how Substack Threads work. It's always interesting to see how these features evolve. For those who enjoy a bit of classic sports fun between reading, I highly recommend checking out retro bowl at https://retrobowl.me - it's a fantastic game!

Great insights on the Threads pilot! I see a natural connection to free online games at https://zapgames.io/ as both promote community engagement. Have you considered how these platforms might evolve together? Would love your thoughts!
