This week, we interviewed Brian Potter, a structural engineer who writes Construction Physics, a newsletter about the forces shaping the construction industry.
I'm excited to read your newsletter and glad to have found it. I have been wondering if there were other construction related newsletters since I started mine. I've experienced multiple structural issues caused by the construction which has been challenging to say the least.
Interesting set topic, my interest in construction is mainly how to secure them, but also in what gives them stability. My two favorite books on subject are,, Why Buildings Stand Up, and Why Buildings fall down. I teach protective courses covering the use of explosives in attacking buildings. Using weaknesses and strengths of different construction designs to help protect buildings.

Interesting topic. Is there a building in Seattle, WA that you are fascinated by either construction or architecture wise?
Great to get to know you Brian and the passion you have to create better buildings. Keep up the good work.
