At Legacy and Lore I write about Asian American heritage, memoir, and everything I’ve learned about writing after 15 years teaching in an MFA program. I’m working on a collaboration with @katiegeesalisbury and would love to connect with others in these veins.

I’m interested in finding a few likeminded writers of honest, gritty autobiographical fiction and memoir along with cultural commentary on our time now. I write about life in a very real way. Ideology on either side, safety, trigger warnings: These are not my things. I’m into Art and independent thinking. I am a member of no tribe. I’d like to recommend each other and link to each other and possibly do mutual guest posts. Some of my writing is provocative and borderline controversial. Much of it isn’t but is simply honest.

Hi everyone--

I am looking to host fellow music writers at On Repeat, and am happy to share something with your readers as well! I'd also love to find a few more people to collaborate with. If you've got a great idea, I'd love to hear it!

I am very much open to collaboration with other political conservative writers. I am looking for anything that will help me grow, so guest contributors or being one is definitely something I would be interested in.

I'm looking for artists/illustrators to collaborate with on some pieces of fiction. From fantasy through to graphic-novel style (e.g. Saga) visuals for some sci-fi writing.

Would love to collaborate and/or commision.

I am currently working on a page (not just post but separate tab) of 'cognitive liberators' - substack writers who have written posts on digital detox, quitting social media, digital minimalism. I have quite a substantial list of writers already gathered from the digital detox I organized in May.

If you have written a post along these lines and would like to be added to the page send me a note!

Thanks to Substack's latest Notes thread on guest posts / collaborations, I have now come on contact with a whole bunch of other writers, with which I'm now discussing and planning shared content. Was taken aback by how many responses I got to my Note.

Loved the idea of an Office Hours for finding collaborators — I was late to the party but looking forward to the next one!

I write about the joys and challenges of parenting young kids from a dad’s perspective. I’m always open to collaborations!

I put out a double-call on this to

1. interview people about their experience of the relationship between art/creativity and mental health/wellness

2. Join to be a stop on my virtual book tour for The Artist's Mind in August.

Both of those offers are still open. But just wanted to say that I already got a lot of amazing responses from having connected to collaboration through the initial thread and I'm so appreciative of that and the community here. <3

I've had a great time collaborating with other nonfiction writers here on Substack so far! I currently have everything I can handle right now, but I write every day, and I enjoy working with thoughtful folks.
