Really excited for this! I am trying to accomplish something similar to a story/book club with kids. As a reading and writing teacher I am all for this kind of community engagement with teacher-students, writers-reader on this platform. :)
Very interesting. I have written some fiction so this could be really fun and I'm subscribed. Currently though I'm writing about fiction. In both cases, this is probably something worthy of my time in both cases.
“social media purified by conscience” I like this description!! Looking forward to the Story Club.

'He describes Substack as "social media purified by conscience"'
I call Substack "twitter for adults".
I share George’s appreciation for short stories. I think Substack’s created a place where the form can thrive again!
Thrilled.

Thanks for bringing George S to Substack, Dan Stone. Story Club is a month in, and it's a wonderful experience.
Thanks
Verygood
If ever there was a gift…all my Christmases! I already feel supported.
Good project
very attractive project. I look forward to following.
Looks like I joined Substack at the right moment.
Me again. Happy birthday, George Saunders!
THRILLING!
