Every change to substack deprioritizes open protocols and platforms and centers their own app. Deep down you really just want us to be in the substack walled garden rather than the social media one. It makes sense given the amount of VC money, but pretty disappointing to see it play out in real time.
I appreciate the addition of a separate field for episode notes in the feed. Although I haven't seen the change live in the editor yet, I'm eager to explore it and update my previous episodes accordingly.
I have a request: could you please incorporate a feature that allows us to include links to our publicly distributed Apple Podcasts, Spotify, https://carparkingapk.xyz/ and other app platforms in the dropdown menu? It would be fantastic if these links automatically appeared on our Podcasts tab as well. I understand the need to strike a balance between promoting individual feeds and these widely used platforms, but for those of us who distribute via these apps, it's crucial to be able to showcase them to regular podcast listeners.
With the Spotify Official App, find the doorway to a symphony of sounds. Check out this link as well: https://spotypre.com/ Enter a realm of never-ending music, where every beat, rhythm, and melody is waiting to be felt by your ears. You can easily navigate across a huge musical landscape using Spotify's user-friendly design, whether you're looking for the newest chart-toppers, timeless oldies, or hidden gems.
I do not have an "Episodes Notes" section in my podcast settings, and since this switch, my entire written post has been showing up in the description box on Apple and Spotify. I have been in touch with Gavin at Substack since May 15 about this issue, and he cannot seem to find any answers as to why my Settings don't offer this section. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you for adding a distinct field for episode notes in the feed--I don't see the change live in the editor yet but I'm excited to play around with it and update my past episodes.
One request: can you please add a way for us to add our publicly distributed Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other app links to that dropdown menu? It'd be great if they automatically showed up on our Podcasts tab as well. I know you have to balance this with promoting the private, individual feeds as well, but for those of us who choose to distribute feeds via those apps it's key that we're able to promote them to regular podcast listeners.

This is a fantastic update—really loving the new design and how it puts audio front and center! As someone who follows a lot of tech and media podcasts, I appreciate platforms like Substack making the listening experience smoother. Also, if you're into accessing global content or streaming region-restricted podcasts/videos, check out ytcroxyproxy. It’s a helpful tool for bypassing geo-blocks and ensuring uninterrupted access to your favorite creators. Looking forward to exploring more podcasts here with this cleaner layout!
Loved the structure of this episode page — clear, accessible, and user-friendly. It’s the same principle we follow in service-based websites too. https://github.com/android-multi-tool-v1-3-2-donlod For example, on Master Rooter, we’ve found that a simple layout and helpful content really improve user trust and conversions, especially in urgent service scenarios. https://github.com/idm-kuyhaa-dowlod

Can I upload a Zoom session to the Substack Podcast feature and have it only available for paid subscribers?
The new design looks great on the site!

Null’s Brawl turns the rules upside down, and somehow it still feels balanced and fun. Magic!
