Having read some of her work and seen others' critique of her work I thought maybe there may have been another "Bari Weiss" and not the infamous one I'd heard so much about. Then I wondered "what does it all mean?" So I took time to read the comments and they gave me a bit more clarity on what it means, sorta. But my question is, how much influence do we as writers here on Substack have over whether or not Substack partners with anyone? It seems like we are chiming in after the train has already left the station. Will our complaints, which appear to be more con than pro, make a difference or cause Substack to change course as it relates to whom they partner with? In fact, I don't remember getting a heads up before they entered the partnership, asking for my opinion or my vote. It seems to me the only way this arrangement is, or can be cancelled, is in the comment section. Those are my thoughts.
